12-1’s Emily Anderson
As a 2007 HHS graduate, Emily was on the varsity volleyball team for 4 years and voted captain her senior year. She grew up in the volleyball world, with her older sister, Lindsay, playing through college and her father, Gary, who coached Emily's JO teams and has been the JV coach at HHS the past several years. Emily has been a coach at summer volleyball camps with Hopkins and Minnesota Select and assisted the 14s team for Hopkins Juniors with her father in the 2010 season, she is very excited to have her own 12s team this year. Emily is currently living in St. Paul, finishing her last year at Concordia University where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education.
12-2's Emily Holmgren
13-1’s Megan Holle
Megan Holle is a senior at the University of Minnesota in the School of Nursing. She has been playing volleyball since elementary school. She has played almost every volleyball position, but spent most of her years as a DS. During her senior year of high school, she was part of the varsity volleyball team that competed in the state tournament. She has been coaching for Hopkins Juniors for two years now. She loves teaching the lifelong sport of volleyball, and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
14-1’s Jerry Sylvestre (Head)
Jerry has been coaching volleyball for the past 12 years. For the last five years, Jerry has coached in the Hopkins Juniors program at the 14's, 15’s and 16’s levels. In 2007, Jerry attended the Midwest Volleyball Instructors, MVI summer workshop and in 2009 he attended the MVI Spring Coaching Clinic. Jerry has played volleyball for over 25 years in sand and indoor leagues.
